Gurt Buffalo Sausage Pasta

Tasty pasta dish with a spicy kick, using Gurt Sauces Buffalo Wing Sauce. 

INGREDIENTS:

  • Penne Pasta
  • 1 Red Onion Diced
  • 4-6 Pork Sausages
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tin Chopped Tomatoes
  • Gurt Buffalo Wing Sauce
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Salt & Pepper

Serves 2-3 people.

METHOD:

Cook the penne pasta to the packet guidelines in a pan of boiling water with a pinch of salt. Chop the sausages into chunks and dice the red onion.

Heat 1 tbsp of Olive Oil in a large pan and add the sausages. Cook until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Add the red onion and continue cooking until the onion has softened.

Lower to a medium heat, mix in the chopped tomatoes, chilli powder, garlic powder and Gurt Buffalo Sauce (we recommend a drizzle but it depends how much you love Buffalo Sauce!) 

Leave to simmer on a low heat for 10 minutes. Whilst simmering, drain the pasta and grate the cheese to your preferred amount for topping.

Serve your pasta, add the sausage mixture, season with salt and pepper and then add your cheese on top. A quick and easy meal ready for you to enjoy!
